Ant rhagddynt bawb o nerth i nerth

(Salm lxxxiv, 7. Ant o Nerth i Nerth, &c.)
Ant rhagddynt bawb o nerth i nerth
  Nes cael yn brydferth ddyfod,
I 'mddangos i Dduw ger ei fron,
  Yn Sïon ei breswylfod.

I'r lan, i'r lan tua phen y bryn,
  Lle mae eu Brenhin Iesu;
Ddiffygiant ddim nes myn'd i'r ne',
  Cânt gyd ag e deyrnasu.

Trwy 'fonydd mawrion, dyfnion, du,
  Ymlaen heb ofni gronyn;
Gan ddringo creigydd mawrion, serth,
  I'r lan trwy nerth eu Brenhin.

Rhyfelant a gelynion gâd,
  Trwy rinwedd
      gwaed eu Capten,
Congcwerant, lladdant
    ar bob llaw,
  Nes myn'd tu draw'r Iorddonen.

Ni flina neb
    mae Duw eu rhan,
  Y llesg, y gwan, a'r clwyfus;
O ras i ras fe dygiff ef,
  I deyrnas nef i orphwys.

Fe derfydd byth
    eu poen a'u gwae,
  Eu trallod a'u cystuddiau;
Cânt ganu yn
    y nefoedd wen,
  Yn iach ar ben eu siwrnau.
Cânt gyd ag e :: Gael gydâg ef
Fe derfydd byth :: Derfydd ar fyr

Blwyddyn y carcharorion caeth
Dy babell Di mor hyfryd yw
Y rhai a blan(n)wyd yn nhŷ Dduw

(Psalm 84:7. They shall Go from Strength to Strength, &c.)
They shall go from strength to strength
  Until getting beautifully to come,
To appear before God,
  In Zion his habitation.

Up, up to towards the top of the hill,
  Where their King Jesus is;
They shall not fail until going to heaven,
  They shall get to reign with him.

Through great, deep, black rivers,
  Onwards without a grain of fear;
While climbing great, steep rocks,
  Up through their King's strength.

They shall fight with a army of enemies,
  Through the virtue of
      their Captain's blood,
They shall conquer, they shall kill
    on every hand,
  Until going beyond the Jordan.

None shall be exhausted
    whose portion is God,
  The feeble, the weak, and the wounded;
From grace to grace he shall lead,
  To the kingdom of heaven to rest.

Vanish forever shall
    their pain and their woe,
  Their trouble and their afflictions;
They shall get to sing in
    the bright heavens,
  Safe at their journey's end.
They shall get ... with him :: To get ... with him
Vanish forever shall :: Vanish shortly shall
